We feature over 30 imported German and Belgian biers, complimented by a simple but elegant wine list. Our goal is to serve only the finest and freshest local and sustainable products we can find, from local dairy and organic produce to humanely-raised meats. While we specialize in German-style food, we can cater to any style you wish, from contemporary Californian to classical French and Italian cuisine.
We offer a cozy bar with an 11-foot rear-projection screen and two stages for your multi-media and entertainment needs.

While we will offer some strictly traditional recipes throughout the year, our vision is to take the customary ideas and theories of German Cuisine and give them a contemporary, California twist.
Our goal is to serve only the finest and freshest local and sustainable products we can find, from local dairy and organic produce to humanely-raised meats, showcasing these amazing products in our German-inspired fare. Matthew Eastling, Partner
Over the last 15+ years, Matt Eastling has successfully started his own consulting practice working with corporations to start-ups, founded several profitable high-tech companies, and established a large ‘green’ entertainment venue in San Francisco. Mr. Eastling managed critical aspects of introducing a 20,000 sq. ft. venue of Temple Nightclub and Prana Restaurant (now Ka Sushi), in San Francisco, from construction and up through its heralded debut. Once established, the venture executed very well with 50+ employees, serving 3000+ patrons a week. Temple is critically acclaimed and is considered to be the ‘Greenest Nightclub in the World’ and the ‘Best Nightclub in San Francisco’.
Mr. Eastling also founded Complete Circle Consulting (C3) in 2005, a business consultancy that helps companies and their employees realize their sustainability goals. Clients include prominent San Francisco based companies and startups. Mr. Eastling earned his BA in Sociology with a minor in Computer Science from Pitzer College and his MBA from Presidio Graduate School. He currently sits on the Alumni Boards for both Presidio Graduate School and Pitzer College, where he assists with sustainability initiatives and fundraising campaigns.
Zak Latzka, Partner/GM
Zak Latzka has bartended and managed bars for over 11 years in the Midwest, San Francisco, and New York. Mr. Latzka is a Co-Founder and the Chief Operating Officer of Lunar Productions, LLC, where he owned and operated Element Lounge for seven years, before selling in Fall 2010. Mr. Latzka brings hands-on experience in the development of successful brick-and-mortar businesses and excellent people management skills. In 2000, he founded, and operated Vital Vinyl, a successful boutique music store located in the Midwest. Over the last ten years he has built a strong contact network in the entertainment sector via successful event promotion and management with developing over 500 events for the San Francisco market. Mr. Latzka holds a degree in Sound Engineering.
